Breather Cap

Breather Cap - Replacement Acid Drum Breather Cap

Replacement breather cap for 5L and 15L acid drums used with automated acid dosing systems. The breather cap allows air into the drum as acid is drawn out, preventing a vacuum from forming so the dosing pump can draw chemical consistently. A blocked or missing breather can cause erratic dosing and inaccurate pH control.

Key Features

• Replacement breather cap for 5L and 15L acid drums
• Allows air into the drum for consistent chemical dosing
• Helps maintain accurate pH control in automated systems
• Durable, chemical-resistant construction
• Simple screw-on replacement

When to Replace

• The existing cap is cracked, perished or missing
• The breather vent is blocked or damaged
• Your dosing pump is struggling to draw chemical from the drum
• You are setting up a new acid drum for your dosing system

Safety Tip

Always handle pool acid with care: wear gloves and eye protection, keep the drum upright and out of direct sun, and never mix pool chemicals. When swapping caps, make sure the drum is stable and away from children and pets.
